Everybody, I would like you to meet this cute little guy who will feature on Symphonic’s new layout, hopefully to be up by the end of next weekend (sooner if I have boring classes this week, I’ve happily discovered that I can while away the time quite easily by writing CSS).
So, here he is. Mr Robin. I started on him yesterday evening, but started over again this morning when I decided to take a break from “real” drawing and make him more web-savvy. I am so proud of the Photoshopping abilities I never knew I had, and here is my baby as a result. Forgive the feet, they will be attached to a branch in the layout so I’m not bothering. I’m still figuring out what’s wrong with his beak, but that can come later (any ideas)?
However, my new baby needs a name – and as awesome as I am in coming up with names (my friends and I named a baby “Tabernacles” once. Sadly, the parents rejected it), I cannot think of a name for this little guy. Here’s where you come in – comment on this entry with a name which you think suits Mr Robin (so far I’ve been under the impression he’s male, but you’re free to disagree), and the person with the name I like best (funny ones are a bonus) will get linked in the footer of the next layout. If I can’t decide, I’ll put it to a vote. Awesome, huh?

Go for something vaguely related…like call him Batman or something similar. Geddit? Batman & Robin? Hehehehe…I’m so immature…
I think he looks like a Bruce. Which, if we’re going with Amanda’s idea, still works, since Batman is Bruce Wayne! (He could also be called Wayne, but… Bruce is what he looks like.)
