Last night I realised that if I go on hating being 17, it’s not going to get any better as I get older. And, although I can’t quite bring myself to stop thinking that being 17 is comparatively old, and a lot of responsibility, and generally sucks, it is also young. It just depends on what you compare it with, so if you compare it with the rest of your life instead of how much you’ve lived now, it is really, really young.
So, I am really, really young.
I realised this while listening to Dancing Queen. So you see where I’m coming from. I watched Mamma Mia! (the movie) for the first time over the weekend, expect reviews and stuff shortly. Also a new layout, which looks awesome, though I say it myself.
Back to the original point, I am going to do my best to love being 17.
Just thought you’d like to know. Am also telling you so you can throw it back in my face if I start to grumble again. Remember.

Being 17 sucks! It’s a sort of in between age, that nobody quite understands xD. You should go back to hating it, it’s much more fun!

I usually feel old every year around my birthday, no matter how young I still am.
I’m in no hurry to grow up, but I’m still young right now so I’m going to enjoy it while I still can.

Ooh, I watched Mamma Mia as well around a few weeks back and after that I became totally infatuated with ABBA’s songs lol. I like Dancing Queen but it is a freaking hard song to sing. I love the song “Winner Takes It All” from the show. I think Meryl Streep really sang it very well.

I am fairly young in my opinion but you are right, comparing to the rest of the universe, (and the Earth and everything else, my parents maybe?) I’m still freaking young.

I’m scared of being 17. Although I’m more scared of being 18. Actually, I’m more scared of being 16, which is only 4 months away. O.O 17 is young really, but when you’ve been 16, 15 etc just months before then it seems so old, haha.
I LOVED MAMMA MIA! Srsly, it was awesome. I could finally admit to myself that Abba’s songs are brilliant. =P
