So, whaddya think? I think it looks quite yummy myself, very appropriate for all the lovely warm weather we’ve been having recently (into skirts and sandals already. Yes my feet have been kind of freezing, but that’s nothing new unfortunately), I’ve already had a few ice creams this year.
This layout was inspired doubly by one of my own colour palettes on ColourLovers, and also by overhearing a conversation between a group of American teenagers a couple of years ago in Spain. The guy amused me. Note: he may have been using the word “love” in a slightly different sense.
Guy: Come on, let me buy you an ice cream.
Girl: Okay.
Guy: Cool, you want Mint Choc Chip, right?
Girl: Mmm, my favourite, how did you know?
Guy: You’re a girl! (to other guy) Always buy girls Mint Chocolate Chip. They’ll love you then. It always works.
Lol. Personally my absolute favourite kind of ice cream has to be black cherry liqueur (with REAL cherries, thank you), but if I’m not anywhere near an Italian ice cream parlour (best ice cream in the world, don’t even attempt anywhere else) I’m happy to settle for a scoop of chocolate, vanilla and mint choc chip. Mmmm, summer days.
Opinions on/glitches with the layout, let me know. Other than that, is it a girly flavour?
I think that the illustration is really good, it really adds something unique to your design. For me, the green background is a little too bright, and there isn’t much contrast with the content. I would personally use something that isn’t neon, and a more olive color. Then again, olive is one of my most favoritest colors ever. :3

Omg, I love mint chocolate chip! I think it’s my 4th favourite flavour (after Rocky Road/Heavenly Hash, chocolate, and Cookies’n'Creme/Cookie dough).
It’s kinda weird how small the “plain” text is (e.g. the paragraphs in your blog entry and the text in the footer boxes).
Oh, I don’t think it’s a girly flavour at all. Probably because all the males in my family love it as well

I love mint chocolate chip! Ever since I was young, I would always get it as my filler for my ice cream birthday cakes. My second favourite would have to be chocolate peanut butter, then strawberry, and plain chocolate. I think the only reason I like strawberry so much is because my dad loved it, and I would always want to try his even though I knew what it tasted like.
