Under 36 hours to go until my concert, and I’ve had my final run-through with the dress. I’ll practise a bit more over the next two days, have a run-through with the orchestra before the concert, and then it’s showtime. Just got to sort out how I’m having my hair. All my friends have somehow claimed a part of me to get ready that I don’t think I’ll have anything to do – but I’m insisting on having a run-through for my hairstyle tomorrow. I’m envisioning something close to the pre-wedding scenes in My Big Fat Greek Wedding for Wednesday night. It’s lovely, everybody’s so excited. This is the real reason I’m doing it – all the attention! Anyway, here’s a few photos of my dress, excuse the hair and lack of makeup, I was feeling a bit ugly when I took these. I’ll try and remember to take my camera in and get a recording of the run through so you can listen too!
